Two upcoming Boston-area events of note:

• The Boston Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America is hosting a presentation by a former colleague of mine, Chris Bajdek of ESS Group, on Noise from Wind Energy Facilities. All are welcome (and there will be food).
• MIT Alum Brandy Karl alerted me to a conference at MIT on Low Frequency Vibration (Facebook link, sorry non-FBers). The conference is a collaboration between MIT and Gallaudet University and includes workshops and experiences designed for the deaf and those with hearing. The evening culminates in a dance party with a raised floor designed to vibrate at low frequencies so the deaf can also experience music.
