Serving the Acoustics Community Since 1994
Cross-Spectrum Acoustics Inc. offers Sound & Vibration Consulting Services
Since my last update I’ve had a dozen mics in stock over the past week, but everytime I go to update the product page, I sell out. I woke up this morning with two microphones in stock and as I write this, I’ve sold those two and I have three on backorder (which will ship no later than next Monday).
These mics have suddenly become very popular, and I’m doing my best to keep up. If the popularity keeps up, I’ll probably invest in a more efficient characterization process (it’s essentially a manual process right now), but for now please have patience.
I’ve been selling pre-calibrated Behringer ECM8000’s for a few months. The were selling slowly so I’ve been a bit lax in regard to building up inventory. For some reason, there has been an incredible demand for them since the New Year. Combined with the sudden increase in clients wanting microphone characterization services, and I’ve been just barely able to keep up with the demand.
I’ve been ordering and shipping mics as fast as I can. At this point, my supply is still exhausted, I have one purchase order to fill (the mic I had earmarked for that order turned out to be bad, so I’m waiting for an exchange) and two people expressing interest in ordering mics. For now, all I can do is ask for your patience. I’ll probably place a large order later this week and I should have mics ready to go by early next week.
As always, if you have any questions feel free to drop me a line and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
