Because there are a lot of people who fantasize about this exact scenario:
Looks like I spoke too soon:
- Warner Bros drops HD DVD in favor of Blu-ray
- Toshiba canceled their CES HD DVD press event
- Paramount was rumored to be dropping HD DVD but they have announced otherwise.
It's not been a good month for HD DVD. I'm still sitting this one out.
